Prehistoric Life
Overview of Experience
The river valleys and limestone mountains of Northern Thailand have been inhabited by humans for thousands of years. We create an immersive experience for students to experience what aspects of prehistoric life was like.
For Schools
Caves, art, stories and survival.
For this experience, we travel into the mountains about 30 minutes West of Chiang Mai. We hike to a small cave surrounded by dense jungle where we spend time engaging in some of the activities which pre-historic people would have engaged in. We can look at examples of cave art found in the North and specualte about the the importance of cave art to pre-historic people and the significance it might have held. Students can make their own cave art and create stories based on cave art. We can also organise for for students to cook as prehistoric people might have and attempt to make and use some of the tools they might have used.
